In 2018 I stepped away from a long career in libraries and museums.  While I was making art the whole time, it took a back seat to other pursuits. Since then I have recalibrated -- moving into a life as a full-time artist with all that it entails.  A residency at the Vermont Studio Center rekindled my desire to write alongside my visual art. I am excited to share that my writing is now being published in the online journal, Ovunque Siamo New Italian-American Writing.

It was February 2020 and Margara Russotto sent me a note after attending my art exhibition, Capriccio. She said, "Today was a beautiful day! I wrote my poetic exercises inspired by your artistic work.  Thank you, my friend, for the wonderful artistic connection! Your images have haunted me!"
