This body of work emerged at an in-between time as I was finishing the last few  prints from an earlier series inspired by the intermingled layers of the ancient pagan and Christian worlds at Subiaco, Italy.  At the same time, I was experiencing my own in-between-ness as I age into the next moments of life. Whether it be the turn of a new year, seasonal cosmic markers, or human efforts to organize our days on earth, these transitional prints explore personal and universal ways of marking time.
